Meet Kevin

Kevin R. Christopher has been practicing law in the North Georgia area since graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1996. Mr. Christopher focuses his practice in the area of criminal defense and handles cases in Barrow, Jackson, Banks, Athens-Clarke, Madison, Hart, Stephens, Franklin, Habersham, Oconee, Greene, Morgan, Walton, Gwinnett and Hall Counties. His experience throughout the North Georgia area for over 28 years has allowed him to develop good working relationships with prosecutors, judges, and clerks of court, which is a vital component in all criminal defense work.

Mr. Christopher began his criminal defense training during law school while working at the UGA legal aid clinic. Upon graduation, he worked with the Barrow County Public Defenders office for 5 years. He opened his private practice in Jefferson in 2002 and is a proud member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Piedmont Bar Association.

Kevin’s experience ranges from minor traffic offenses to murder cases. He offers caring representation and is amiable and genuine in approach, yet he believes in being aggressive when circumstances dictate. Mr. Christopher is also careful to recognize situations where there is substantial benefit in reaching a resolution without resorting to litigation or taking a case to trial.
